The relentless noise and vibration from a piston powered propeller aircraft often made long flights even more exhausting. Most aircraft also couldn’t fly high enough to avoid bad weather, so air sickness was more common. After World War Two, as part of an effort to develop its civil aviation industry, Britain stunned the world by unveiling the world's jet airliner. The de Havilland Comet was sleek, quiet, and flew higher and faster than any airliner of the day. As piston propeller technology was reaching its limits, the conventional thinking was that jet engines were too unreliable and produced too little power relative to their fuel consumption. But the de Havilland Comet proved that jet travel was the future. When the Comet entered service in 1952, it immediately began breaking travel time records and became a point of national pride for Britain. The de Havilland Comet was perhaps little too ahead of it’s time. With such a clean sheet design, there will still lessons to learn. When early Comets suffered from catastrophic depressurization incidents, the entire fleet was grounded and their Certificate of Airworthiness was revoked. Flaws in the design of the aircraft’s fuselage were resolved in later Comet versions. However, the rest of the world was now catching up, and manufacturers including Boeing and Douglas began to offer their own jet airliners. While later version Comets served airlines reliably, they were outsold by competing aircraft. There's no question However, that the comet paved the way. The British had taken a massive risk and brought the world into the jet age. Thanks for watching! Please Like, Comment and Subscribe!

There have been online petitions circulated to restore the employment of the workers, though new attention is being paid to the intense scrutiny that drivers are under from management that monitor every move of their computerized fleet. Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/MysteryHistory Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/MysteryHistoryBook/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/Mysterytweetery Steemit: https://steemit.com/@mysteryhistory Alex Putney, over at human resonance.org, has, for a number of years now, been unravelling some rather startling secrets. Secrets surrounding Nikola Tesla’s free energy technologies, and the systematic suppression thereof, and seemingly deciphering a number of astounding ancient discoveries, all of which, strongly indicating once highly advanced knowledge of sound waves, resonance, and indeed levitation of extremely large weights. Coined as the, quote, “Piezoelectric Basins” by Alex himself, it seems he, along with a number of other researchers exhaustive efforts, have discovered some compelling and intriguing characteristics of many ancient ruins which litter most Egypt, dotted along the banks of the Nile. We have in the past, touched upon the possibility of sound resonance having been a factor in Edward Leedskalnin’s mysterious and secretive construction of Coral castle, which can be found within Florida. Many believe that Edward somehow unravelled the secrets to the pyramids, and in doing so, was able to recreate his own rudimentary resonance machine, enabling him to lift enormous weights with relative ease. As our knowledge of our environment and the mysteries of our ancestors deepens, especially regarding their once mystifying and astounding knowledge of construction, left to ruin in many areas of the world, accepted as having never had access to heavy machinery, we must look elsewhere for our answer as to how these weights were moved. As Putney puts it quote, “The many astoundingly beautiful monuments of the Giza plateau, especially along the Nile River, display a remarkably precise set of engineering specifications, designed specifically for psychoacoustic effects. indicates an ancient biorhythmic synchronization network once operated on a global scale. Preceding the Dynasties of the Pharaohs by several thousands of years, this global pyramid culture was a technologically advanced Sanskrit world nation, which employed these giant crystalline structures to synchronize the pineal, hypothalamus and pituitary glands with the human heartbeat, at temples and sacred sites worldwide.” End quote. An outspoken local wisdom-keeper of the Giza plateau, Egyptologist and tour-guide Abd'el Hakim Awyan, has brought very controversial but extremely compelling knowledge to bear, regarding profound implications of these astounding ancient constructions. Hakim's provocative commentary on the misconceptions of modern academics, was broadcast in The Pyramid Code, a documentary produced by Dr. Carmen Boulter, Professor at the University of Calgary: a documentary well worth investigation. reveals several insights, including the advanced nature of the psychoacoustic and biorhythmic effects of these ancient Sanskrit monuments, that he claims have all been falsely attributed to the 'Egyptian' civilization: part of his testimony is as follows, it must be noted that due to Abd'el’s intimate knowledge of the Giza plateau, he should undoubtedly be perceived as a reliable source of avenues for alternative, esoteric research. He claims that In 1936, while the Sphinx was still covered up to the neck in sand; there were tunnels he personally explored. Claiming that a crystal altar can be found, containing a round disc in the middle of four radial lines - a symbol of 'Hotep' - 'Hotep' meaning peace and food. This round disc was a lid on a shaft, about 180 feet deep to the level of the ocean where he claims there is still running water. These giant concave quartz instruments, nine of them were found around the area, and there is still quote “much more to be found…. http://www.human-resonance.org/levitation_basins.html

Call it "extreme ground shipping," or "Lazy UPS Guy" if you're tracking YouTube. "I was sitting right there playing XBOX, and I see a big brown thing pass by," said John Torres, who may have seen the next viral sensation live from his Gainesville home. "He probably wasn't thinking or just lazy like the video says," he said. The video, uploaded on January 14 and already has close to 600 views, shows a UPS driver heading North along 34th Street, driving on the sidewalk- directly through a school zone. "It's a very mobile area, we see bicycles and pedestrians all the time," said Sgt. Joe Raulerson with the Gainesville Police Department. If an officer witnessed the delivery, the driver would have been hit with a $154 citation, and three points on his license. The UPS public relations team released this statement to TV20: "'Thanks so much for calling this to our attention. What is depicted on this video is in no way condoned by UPS. We don't tolerate any violation of UPS safe driving practices and will take corrective action, including termination, for anyone who isn't following our safe driving standards. The location is not clearly apparent, so we're investigating this video further. We value the unique trust the public places in UPS for the highest safety standards on the roadways.' Susan Rosenberg | UPS Public Relations Manager." "Right when they get out of school, that's pretty much when UPS comes around," said Torres, who is happy no one was hurt but doesn't think "lazy UPS guy" should be fired. "Maybe put him back in packaging," he said.

No matter how far you are from your nearest neighbor, if you live in the United States or Europe, UPS can deliver to your address. UPS can deliver to 80 percent of the planet within 48 hours, so if you live somewhere else, it's still pretty likely that UPS can find you to drop off or pick up packages. That's a lot of addresses -- and a lot of packages. In fact, in 2005, UPS delivered 3.75 billion packages and letters. That's more than one package for every two people in the entire world.

COLORADO SPRINGS - A little boy with dreams of becoming a UPS driver was granted his wish. Four-year-old Carson Kight was featured in a UPS "Your Wishes Delivered" video that was released this week. Carson's fascination with UPS started with Mr. Ernie, a delivery driver in his neighborhood. Full story at the Denver Channel:http://www.thedenverchannel.com/news/local-news/4-year-old-colorado-springs-boy-gets-tiny-ups-truck-to-deliver-packages Last month UPS surprised Carson with a special delivery. Inside Ernie's delivery truck was a smaller UPS truck for Carson to drive around his neighborhood. "Carson knew nothing about it and did not know Mr. Ernie would come or that there was a little truck inside the big truck," said Karen Kight. Carson now spends his time hand-delivering packages with cookies and muffins to his neighbors. Nowadays his is the only brown truck you'll see on the street. Mr. Ernie was moved to a different route over the summer.

Just me passing some time on preload, I was working the morning shift for some extra hours to pay for the big boy toys! Just thought id let people see what its really like as the boxes come down the belt and the loaders grab what goes to their trucks. I had the semi/bulk truck which runs the mall stops and just outside of the mall. Then the truck right next to it. For those of you who are Abeka home schoolers, you will recognize the small DVD boxes in the trailer. By the end of the morning that had a few hundred boxes everywhere just for returns. I gotta say, I really enjoy working there and I find its fun getting to be called in to do these different jobs from time to time! I hope you guys enjoy the short video!
