A lawsuit has been filed. As of March 2018, it is still working its way through the slow legal system. We will update when possible. Here are a couple court documents: http://sharkonline.org/images/Documents/nystatecomplaint.pdf http://sharkonline.org/images/Documents/nywaynecocomplaint.pdf Depositions are currently scheduled for May, 2018. The SHARK team appreciates those commenters who have a grasp of the US Constitution, and the vital rights it bestows on our citizens. Brave Americans have died to preserve and defend these rights, and it is tragic that so many people are not only unaware of their rights, but moreover are willing to give them up, and even insist that others do the same. The Constitution gives Americans the opportunity to stand, but standing requires a spine - something quite a number of people lack today. We will continue to stand strong with other proud Americans. November 13, 2016, a SHARK team uses an Angel drone to get an aerial view of Marshall Farms, a company in North Rose, New York that raises beagles, ferrets and other animals for research. Although absolutely no laws were broken, police made an illegal traffic stop that lasted more than an hour. The bullying and incompetence is hard to believe. Per the ACLU: Police may stop and briefly detain you only if there is reasonable suspicion that you committed, are committing or are about to commit a crime. The police lost their credibility, their dignity, and any legitimacy by selling out to a company that sells animals for research. Shame on the New York State Police and the Wayne County Sheriff's Department. We are in the process of reviewing our legal options, and will provide updates as decisions are made. Please email both law enforcement agencies about how their officers acted. Please be polite, and please let us know if you get a response: New York State Police: FIELDCMD@troopers.ny.gov IAFFAIRS@troopers.ny.gov Wayne County Sheriff: Sheriff Barry Virts firstname.lastname@example.org SHARK has set up a "Go Fund Me" Account to help with our travel and legal expenses. Help SHARK by donating here: https://www.gofundme.com/sharks-expenses There is no law against flying over private property. While we very much appreciate the supportive comments many people have left, we ask you to consider that threats against police officers is not the way to go. While SHARK will stand against bad cops, we do not wish them harm - we only wish to get rid of the bad cops, so the good police can do their jobs. Harming others is what we are trying to end, so let's not threaten even those with whom we very much disagree. We certainly understand the emotion, having seen so much corruption firsthand, but violence is not the answer.

While an individual person may not save much by only making right turns, a huge corporation like UPS has proven since 2004 how avoiding left turns in its trucks can significantly increase its bottomline while reducing emissions and accidents. With nearly 100,000 trucks and hundreds of aircraft, UPS averages 15.8 million packages delivered daily worldwide. While an individual person may not save much by only making right turns, since UPS implemented a right turn policy in 2004, they have significantly increased profits while reducing emissions and accidents. UPS estimates the right-turn-heavy policy, combined with its routing software, shortens routes by 20.4 million miles and saves 10 million gallons of gas while delivering an additional 350,000 packages and reducing CO2 emissions by about 20,000 metric tons each year. UPS engineers noticed how waiting to turn left caused trucks to fall behind on their schedules, consume more gas, and increase the probability of accidents. Their software maps routes with only right-hand turns unless it's quicker or easier to proceed with a left-hand turn. A driver estimates they do about 90% right-hand turns. The television show Mythbusters tested the policy with one route using 8 left and 4 right turns, and another route using 1 left and 23 right turns. The UPS-like route was just over 1 mile and 9 minutes longer, but it reduced gas consumption from 6.8 to 4 pounds. UPS' software probably would've added one or two more left-hand turns to be more efficient on time while still saving gas.

The term "flying car" is often used to include roadable aircraft and hovercars. Many prototypes have been built since the first years of the twentieth century, but no flying car has yet reached production and sales status. Actually it’s pretty hard to make a vehicle that will perfectly work both on roads and in air without compromising comfort, performance, safety, versatility, ease of use and, most important, cost. However, some companies like Terrafugia have already lunched some prototypes (( Transition + TF-X )) so here are 06 Most EXTREME Flying Cars that actually fly: #01. Aeromobil 3.0 #02. PAL-V One #03. Support My Channel By Shopping on Amazon! http://amzn.to/2atadUZ SUBSCRIBE https://goo.gl/OXghgH https://www.facebook.com/deejay.gabriel.7 Amazon's chief executive has revealed that the company is testing a new service involving delivery by mini-drones to get packages to customers in just 30 minutes. Jeff Bezos appeared on CBS television's 60 Minutes programme in the US where he played a video from their website showing tiny robotic devices, called 'octocopters', picking up items in small yellow buckets and whizzing them through the air. "I know this looks like science fiction. It's not," Mr Bezos said. "We can do half-hour delivery ... and we can carry objects, we think, up to five pounds which covers 86% of the items that we deliver." The mini-drones are powered by electric motors and could cover areas within a 10-mile radius of fulfillment centres, thus covering a significant portion of the population in urban areas in the US. The retail giant's ambitious project still requires additional safety testing and federal approval but Mr Bezos estimated that Amazon 'Prime Air', as it would be called, would be up and running in four to five years. They operate autonomously and drop the items at the target locations thanks to GPS coordinates transmitted to them. "It's very green, it's better than driving trucks around," said Mr Bezos. Amazon said the octocopters would be "ready to enter commercial operations as soon as the necessary regulations are in place," noting that the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) was actively working on rules for unmanned aerial vehicles. It projected a more optimistic timeline than Mr Bezos himself for the project to be activated, saying the FAA's rules could be in place as early as 2015 and that Amazon Prime Air would be ready at that time. Mr Bezos hinted that part of the motivation behind the mini-drones was to make sure Amazon remains on the cutting edge of the retail industry. "Companies have short life spans ... And Amazon will be disrupted one day," he said. "I would love for it to be after I'm dead." It is not known if there are plans for the service to be launched outside of the US.

New Videos Every Day - Subscribe: https://goo.gl/2nkv2Z Mercedes-Benz Vito with integrated landing platform for Matternet drones With integrated precision landing technology on their roofs, prototype Mercedes-Benz Vito vans turn into connected, safe landing platforms for Matternet drone deliveries. The goal of the project is to significantly improve the time and service level associated with on-demand delivery, and consequently create added value for retailers and consumers. The operation has been authorized by the Swiss Federal Office of Civil Aviation (FOCA) following the Specific Operations Risk Assessment (SORA) methodology developed by JARUS (Joint Authorities for Rulemaking on Unmanned Systems) and was approved by all relevant Swiss air and ground authorities. Safety is the guiding principle during the pilot, which will run for seven hours per day, five days a week in favourable weather conditions only. Matternet drones are integrated in the Swiss airspace system using the same sense and avoid system used by helicopter operators and other users of the lower part of the airspace; and are equipped with a parachute system that is automatically deployed in case of a malfunction. Vans & Drones first presented in 2016 – siroop first pilot customer to test innovative logistics technology The Vans & Drones project was presented by Mercedes-Benz Vans and Matternet at the 'Van Innovation Campus' event in September 2016. The pilot project in Zurich, with siroop as the first system user, is the next step in the advancement of the concept. The shipment is not delivered to the consumer by drone, but rather to the delivery van, which handles delivery for the final segment of the last mile. The use of Mercedes-Benz Vito vans as intelligent, mobile landing stations for Matternet drones is suiting for a variety of use cases and offers several advantages, including: //Reduced overall delivery cycle and cost compared to existing courier service operations. Packages are delivered faster, irrespective of traffic in urban areas. //Integration of drone systems into the logistics chain, with no change in customer behavior. Customers will still receive their packages from a van driver in the exact same way they receive it today. //Gives retailers and logistics companies the ability to provide customers a true on-demand delivery solution, without the need for additional infrastructure. And, it allows companies with van fleets to further leverage them and add on-demand services. //Allows drones to land on the roof of a Vito van, approximately two meters above ground, ensuring the safety for passers-by. The Matternet M2 drones used in the pilot can carry packages of up to two kilograms over distances of up to 20 kilometres. In recent months, the integrated system has been continuously refined and tested extensively in preparation for operation in an urban environment. "The pilot project in collaboration with Matternet and siroop affords us the possibility to test our concept in real-life on-demand deliveries. We want to gain valuable insights for this and further concepts enabled through van and drone technology. We have the great opportunity here to conduct the most extensive testing in an urban environment to date. Validating our concept together with customers and project partners in an early phase will greatly advance the development. We are demonstrating what a practical system comprising drones and vans may look like", says Stefan Maurer, Head of Future Transportation at Mercedes-Benz Vans. "We believe that drone-enabled logistics networks will transform how we access goods every day — we will be able to order something online, and like magic, receive it within minutes, for a fraction of the cost and energy expended today. Switzerland is at the forefront of this technological revolution — this is the first time that a drone delivery network is operating in a major European city and the first time a van and drone network is operating anywhere in the world. We hope that this pilot will give us greater understanding of how the public perceives a drone-enabled solution for e-commerce today and pave the way toward extensive use of these systems", says Andreas Raptopoulos, Founder and CEO of Matternet. UPS earlier today announced that its fleet of alternative fuel delivery vehicles has now driven more than 200 million miles since 2000. The alternative fuel fleet (AFV) now numbers more than 1,900 and another 62 vehicles have just been ordered. Doing the math, including the earth's circumference at the equator, the total mileage accumulated by UPS's "green fleet" is the equivalent to circling the Earth more than 8,000 times. In addition, while it took 11 years to do it the first time, it should only take another 6-years to do it again.

Domino's has tested out a prototype for a flying drone that can deliver pizzas. The device carried two large pepperoni pizzas and conducted a flight. How do you get your pizza delivered? Last month, Domino's pizza teamed up with a creative agency titled T + Biscuits to test out a prototype for a flying drone that can deliver cheese pies. Described as an octacopter, the device carried two large pepperoni pizzas and conducted a flight over a city near London. The pizzas, both contained in an insulated bag, were secured to the drone. They were delivered in perfect condition and it only took about 10 minutes to venture 4 miles. The founder of T + Biscuits stated "If anything it went quicker than a pizza boy. We were amazed at how easy it was going to be." The drone is being called the DomiCopter. Although the device won't take the place of human delivery drivers anytime soon, Domino's is reportedly experimenting with the drone at their UK headquarters. Federal Aviation Administration authorities estimate that private drones will make up a $90 billion industry within 10 years.

You may be surprised to know that you indeed CAN fly over 400 feet with your drone, and it's absolutely LEGAL! Don't believe me? Check out the FAA rules: http://usdronelaw.com/the-law/operation-and-certification-laws/drone-operation-and-certification-regulations-14-cfr-107/ NOTE: This only applies in U.S. Class G airspace. The 400+ exception will NOT allow you to fly into Class E airspace. (Class E starts at 12-Hundred feet.) This rule is for United States Part 107 certified pilots. Other countries have different rules and laws. Oct. 5 -- If you're wondering what the future of shopping will be like, look no further than the outskirts of Reno, where a little startup called Flirtey is working on delivering packages to doorsteps with drones. They have a partnership with convenience store chain 7-Eleven and are experimenting first with over-the-counter medications to save parents with sick children a late-night run to the store. But the drone deliveries are made in insulated boxes, so a chili dog and slurpee dropping from the sky to your home is within reach.

The Inspire One drone looks cool flying and offers a ton of new features, including a 360 degree camera that records in 4K. Read more: http://www.theverge.com/2014/11/12/7210621/dji-inspire-one Subscribe: http://www.youtube.com/subscription_center?add_user=theverge The drone game has changed. That may sound like hyperbole, but that was my first impression when experiencing the DJI Inspire One. This is a unit that anyone could pick up and learn to fly quickly, just as you could with the DJI Phantom. But it offers a ton of powerful new features that were previously only available in units too big, dangerous, and expensive for the average consumer to own. Watching the Inspire One take off and land is exciting, because it transforms mid-flight, with the legs folding up after takeoff so you can shoot 360 degrees of unobstructed video. The unit also has a ground-facing camera that can track what's below and keep the unit stabilized, even when there is no GPS signal, making it much easier to fly indoors. Currently, FAA guidelines state that you cannot fly a drone within 5 miles of an airport UNLESS you contact the airport and control tower. I decided to give it a try by calling the Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport. ---My Drones--- Mavic - http://amzn.to/2qO889c Inspire 1 - http://amzn.to/2rUlJjs ---Camera Equipment--- Canon 80d - http://amzn.to/2qVS6ZQ Shure VP83F LensHopper - http://amzn.to/2rzJFFG GorillaPod Focus - http://amzn.to/2s7Hj3C ---Camera Bag--- ProTactic 450AW - http://amzn.to/2qOp27q ---Laptop--- Razer Blade 14" HD GTX 1060 - http://amzn.to/2s7Umlp Current FAA rules can be found here: https://www.faa.gov/uas/getting_started/fly_for_fun/ Music by The Passion HiFi - facebook.com/thepassionhifi Life On Tech

CHILDREN’S ISLAND, MASSACHUSETTS — Package delivery company UPS partnered with drone-maker CyPhy Works to conduct a test delivery using a drone last Thursday. The drone used in the test delivery was CyPhy Works’ Persistent Aerial Reconnaissance and Communications system (PARC). It flew three miles over the Atlantic Ocean from Beverly, Massachusetts to Children’s Island, where it successfully delivered an asthma inhaler to a child at the camp. The PARC drone is battery-powered and equipped with night vision. It also features secure communications system, preventing information from being intercepted or disrupted. “Drone technology used in this way can save lives and deliver products and services to places that are difficult to reach by traditional transit infrastructures, ” Helen Greiner, the founder and chief technology officer of CyPhy Works said in a press release. Greiner told NBC49.com that the drones are not going to replace delivery trucks. The United States Federal Aviation Administration’s rules for commercial use of drones officially took effect last month, which include a number of restrictions on commercial drone operations. ------------------------------------------------------------- Welcome to TomoNews, where we animate the most entertaining news on the internets. These are the top 10 most bizarre and amazing drones, you won't believe the technology that put into them some are even 3D printed Subscribe to Talltanic http://goo.gl/wgfvrr 5. Star Wars Drone With the advancements in drones coming a long way in recent years, people can enjoy them for personal use as well. How would you like to own your very own Imperial Star Destroyer spaceship? This is about as close as you're going to get and it doesn’t come with laser beams unfortunately. It’s design allows to fly but only when winds don’t get above 5-10 miles an hour. People might get a little frightened if they see this drone being flown around their neighborhood and mistake it for a UFO. This is built with a custom carbon and aluminum frame and a nozzle flight control with a free sky radio system, it’s not too hard to control. 4. The Cyborg Beetle Most people would see a beetle and either think it’s gross or would want to feed it to their pet lizard. Not that it could possibly be a drone that’s spying on people! Scientists created this flying insect that can take the air from using a radio transmitter and a miniature electronic backpack. These were made to take off, land and fly just like any other beetle you might have came across during your life. It can also hover in mid flight to conduct reconnaissance. Scientists were recently able to make this design fly are considering adding thermal vision as well as a microphone. They claim that this would be used for flying over difficult terrain and searching but it really seems like something they would use to hover next to someone's window to spy on them with. This thing is powered by a 3.9 volt lithium battery that’s connected to six microelectrodes implanted into the insect's wings. 3. Flying Saucer Drones The invasion of invasion of flying saucers are finally here but they’re taking the form of mini drones first with no signs of alien life! Police are using this design for rescue and police services! Will patrolmen become a thing of the past and begin using drones instead? Could drones start writing tickets for speeding violations! What will happen next? This drone is a six-rotor multi copter with a camera pod, carrying both infrared and normal cameras. The rotating disks are covered in a smooth plastic with should prevent some drone related injuries while on the job. You think a cop could possible fly a drone into a fleeing suspect and knock them out? Who knows. The possibilities are truly endless. Cops have already began using drones at spring break parties for example, or situations where sending an officer may be risky. AEVA drone can fly for up to an hour and is nowhere near the capabilities of military drones just yet, so don’t get too paranoid. 2. Lifeguard Drones We all machines have the capabilities of taking many jobs from us in the future. The days of hot blonde lifeguards in red swimsuits could come to an end unfortunately and be replaced by drones like we’re about to see. A British company invented a drone that could actually do the job of being a lifeguard better than the human counterparts. These drones carry cameras and rubber lifesaver rings that can be sent out by lifeguards to people who are in distress. These can also make it quicker to potential targets than people swimming. These can even rescue people at night, with thermal vision as well as spotlights. The founder of the company, firmly believe that these will be the future of lifeguards. 1.Battle Drones Who wouldn’t want to see a group of drones battle it out? These matches involved armored drones flying into each until only one victorious drone emerges. With some drones being rather inexpensive, even household owners can partake in these battles with their friends. Here in this photo you see a set of two drones called the YD822 to help drone enthusiasts compete in drone battles for only 99 bucks! To add some coolness to the idea of battle drones, they’ve added cool sound effects. The 6 axis gyro stabilizing and hovering unit makes this a great choice for first timers. These drones also fire fake beams at each other if you correctly fire in the right direction, it disables the opponent for 5 seconds.
