We know how hard it is to find a job that you love going to! And it is so hard to achieve; you have to print hundreds of resumes that you carefully wrote to make you look as good as possible. And let’s say you’re lucky to be considered in a few of them, then you have to surf the problematic waves of a million of interviews and will have to handle countless hours waiting for that most-expected callback. To make a good impression you need a few essentials things such as having clean clothes and having the opportunity to get a shower beforehand. We usually take these little things for granted.

Horseshit!!!! If he was homeless he didn't have to ti walk 3 hours to go sleep under a bridge!
Bob Hamm (3 months ago)
Plus, they would have asked him for his address when they hired him. Touching, but a made up story.
Bob Hamm (3 months ago)
If he was homeless, where was it that he had to walk 3 hours to, every day?

D. K.S. (7 months ago)
I'm sorry to be such a boner but .... if you're homeless you can find a closer location to be so you're not walking 6 hrs a day to get to a temp job. And you can put your uniform on at work so it doesn't get dirty during the hot days of walking. Right ... ?
Goldie locks (7 months ago)
It's a great story. But if he was homeless why walk 6 hours a day? Why not just stick around closer till he gets back up on feet.
Graveyard Steve (7 months ago)
Wait so he was walking 3 hours to work and back? If he's homeless why didn't he just move his sleeping bag closer to work?

Tell me how he can afford to pay for Uber or bus fair when he was homeless? He couldn't even afford the basics in life at that time.

It just goes to show. If you want something badly enough in life you will get it, and if you never get it, it's because you didn't want it badly enough. Awesome story

My husband did the same thing. We were homeless and he had walked to interviews in the winter and continued to walk to work everyday which took about 2 1/2 hours one way, we had two young boys and he did whatever he could to take care of us. I wish everyone could know how great of a man he is and how much he went through to take care of his family. This world can be a hard place when you have no one to help you and not a penny in your pocket. Also the local homeless shelter would not take us in because they claimed to have no room!!!

Today's kids will never have this kind of mindset of. You do what you must to get to work and back especially if you want to eat or have a roof over your head.. God bless you and your family.

if he were homeless where was he going three hours away, couldn't he be homeless closer to the job. not taking anything away from the dude, just that the logic is to not have to walk six hours.....really!
Johanna S (8 months ago)
If he is homeless, why is he walking 6 hours a day? To what? and Why? I would have just stayed in the area where the job is? I mean, I just don't get it, if you're homeless you can pretty much set up anywhere.
David Jimerson (8 months ago)
who is more stupid the story creator or a homeless that walks 6 hours a day to work and back or idiots that believe in this story? Why not stay closer to the job if you are homeless?

One thing they did not mention is that he had an education or at least a trade!!! If it wasnt for that he wouldn't have been hired and given a chance to rebuilt his life. I owned a business for a few years nothing big, but enough to support my son and myself comfortably. I went through some extremely hard times and my business went down. I was left with mounting debt and more bills coming in monthly we were drowning. I kicked into overdrive dusted off my medical assistant diploma that I got at 19 years old. Submitted my resume all over the internet, every clinic and hospital I came across. I got a job within a month, maybe a little more. Slowly, very slowly but surely getting my life back on track. Its hard but now I have a full time well paying job and getting everything at least to a manageable state in my life. If I didnt have that diploma I wouldve been on minimum wage or maybe even homeless...

I find this B'S because if he got to a place where he made enough to buy a better car the police would start harassing him and believing he was a criminal. This man was always a determined man, and it goes to show if the playing field was level, he would not be on the street.
