When you're good, you're good. Most of you want a be drivers couldn't do that with 40 acres. Those of us who are "real truckers" do it all the time

Daniel Santos (24 days ago)
In a country full of swift drivers ! parking a truck becomes a event.... taking a few old school truck drivers and sons of truck drivers 80% are a bunch of clowns behind a steering wheel... good thing America has good roads cuz they wouldn't last 100 miles where I come from
Ricardo Williams (30 days ago)
Got Skills?
Victor Miranda (1 month ago)
That's not easy good job
Robert Swickard (1 month ago)
40 years ago , he would have failed his driving test , you were ONLY ALOUD ( 1 PULL UP TO ADJUST YOURSELF ) ( ANY MORE DURING A ROAD TEST )( YOU GOT ONE EVERY YEAR ) you lost your licence until you passed . But impress a bunch of new wave DRIVERS these days that can't drive , but only fast . When I started WE DID NOT HAVE GPS. CELL PHONES . MEDICAL CARDS WE HAD CHOUFFER'S LICENCES CLASS A , B OR C . NO MEDICAL CARDS BUT A BACKING CARD SHOWING YOU PASSED YOUR BACKING PROCEDURES A. 45° ANGLE A. 90 ° ANGLE AND A SURPENTINE ( BACK AND FORTH LEFT AND RIGHT IN REVERSE ) WE GOT DIRECTIONS BY CALLING A PLACE UP ON A PAY PHONE AT A TRUCKSTOP OR A REST AREA AND WRITING THEM DOWN ON A PIECE OF PAPER . STREET NAMES AND ADRESSES . EXAMPLE Turn LEFT on HOWARD ST. Turn RIGHT on SIMPSON AVE. Go 2 miles and Turn left on Jake ST. Second driveway Turn Left KNOWING OUR LEFT FROM OUR RIGHT , WHICH I MUST SAY 80 PERCENT DONT KNOW THEIR LEFT LANE FROM THEIR RIGHT LANE EXAMPLE SIGN READS ALL TRUCKS LEFT LANE AND YET I SEE MOST IN THE RIGHT LANE . SOMETHING I LEARNED WHEN I WAS 4 YEARS OLD ( MY LEFT FROM MY RIGHT ) NOW DO THAT AT NIGHT IN A SNOW STORM WITH A TANKER AND YOU MIGHT IMPRESS AN OLD GRIZZLED VETERAN OF OVER 40 YEARS LIKE ME . GOOD DAY WANNA BEE'S

Easy
Mitch Ross (2 months ago)
We do this every day.
Kevin Carmack (2 months ago)
And yes, as ksr9t stated, that isn't technically jacknifing, that is tracor and trailer beyond 90 degrees usually causing damage to tractor or trailer, or both
Kevin Carmack (2 months ago)
Nothing special, just set the trailer brakes, watched my Dad do it on a regular basis
Vernon Jones (2 months ago)
It's a 48feet spread that is what you do.
Thermidor le vrai (1 month ago)
its a 53 foot

Now come to Australia where our ‘Truckies’ drive ‘B Doubles’ do that everyday. A B double is the equivalent of 2x40ft shipping containers in length. In the outback parts of Australia you’ll find trucks with up to 5x40ft trailers hauling cattle, mining equipment, diesel fuel.
cee jr (2 months ago)
Daytime it's not hard to do
TBPollock (2 months ago)
My Son would do that in one shot, without all the jockeying.
Big Shaut (2 months ago)
My dad’s been doin this shit for 37 years, and I’ve been doin it for 9 years. This ain’t nothin

pff who can not even park it for me it feels like im drinking water
Carl Ferrigno (2 months ago)
I did this for a year with Hallamore trucking and Rigging Co. With poll trailers with 100 ft concrete beams.. .. try it....we had to back 100ft poll trailers into a construction site in Hartford, Ct. At St.Mary's hospital on a back residential street in order to be unloaded....
Carl Ferrigno (2 months ago)
Dats why he get da big money...
Bertha Taylor (2 months ago)

Mr. Clean (3 months ago)
He 90 alley docked that shit!
Return of the Native (3 months ago)
This is pathetic, when you can do it with 2 trailers on, you're fit to begin pulling a triple roadtain over here. Americans may be our best friends, but when they get it wrong, they really, really make us laugh. You'll just have to cop that one on the chin brother, & try not to cock up so famously again.
STRATEGIC THOUGHT (3 months ago)
You need a country mile to turn a Peterbilt.. and that one looks stretched out with a spread axle, so it would be a little more difficult. Trust me, I've driven them all.
110% America Loving PATRIOT (3 months ago)
I use to see the pros put it in reverse open the door stand on the steps so they could see and back it on in.

As a former switcher for fedex and ups... this is is what is done about 1000 times a night lol

If you've been driving in the northeast U.S. in particular this is pretty normal. Though you don't always have the luxury of space to Maneuver
Paul Atkinson (4 months ago)
Yay......he did his job. NEXT please.
trucker95be (4 months ago)
Nothing special about this. He should be able to do it.
Michael Tondi (4 months ago)
but, can he do it blind side?
Adrian Garza (4 months ago)
Just like swift drivers 😨😂
todd sherman (4 months ago)
big deal should have done it in one try.
BKLYNTURK1975 (4 months ago)
Red necks at work 🤔
Roman De La Cruz (4 months ago)
That's called trailer jacking. Close but wrong term. A Jack knife is something completely different. Just saying...
The Hermanator and Spurgle (4 months ago)
Isn't that what these guys get paid to do? What's the big deal?
Jerry Rose (4 months ago)
With a split axle tearing those front axle tires up nearly causing the trailer to rock on his drive tires possibly damaging his drive fenders. And wow...someone guiding him too. Lol this non aerodynamic trucks, extended chassis trucks just make things hard on themselves and others in docks and truckstops cause once they are in very difficult for anyone else to get in cause they are sticking out 15 feet farther than everyone else. But hey, it's america and if he likes 3.7 mpg and damn near a daily struggle to park all in the name of being a cool super trucker that spends more time in truckwashes than driving, more power to him. SMDH
Danny Romero (4 months ago)
You can teach a monkey to drive a truck but it’s a real truck driver that knows how to do everything else with!!! Excellent job brother!!! Keep the shiny side up👊
James Peters (4 months ago)
Didn’t see anything special here.
James Peters (4 months ago)
Yeah plus it’s easy when someone is spotting you
Jubill (4 months ago)
If you look very close he has a spotter between back of trailor and truck on right look closely as he's backing in and yes I drove big rig 1mil.mi.plus
Terry Boyce (4 months ago)
I'm not getting this. This guy backed a beautiful truck in a wide opened parking spot. We ALL DO THAT ALL DAY EVERYDAY. IF YOU WANNA IMPRESS ME BLIND SIDE BY YOURSELF IN THAT SAME SPOT
Rk0788 k (4 months ago)
Still better than any swift driver out there.
todd epperson (4 months ago)
They cheated....opened the door up
Paul Booker (4 months ago)
I do that everyday. Lol. Nice truck though. 🤘🏻😎🤘🏻

You spend that much money on tractor, you should be able to one shot it.
Tom Bob (4 months ago)
Love a drug free driver , thanks guys drive slow safe
Jerry Rose (4 months ago)
Drug free driver cause he does what we all do daily?? Go fuck yourself you CNN fake news idiot and drive your PRIUS off a cliff!!! Cause your kids aren't drug free but 99 pct of drivers are!!! Stop watching trucker videos fantasizing behind your wife's back about being in the bunk with the driver in a homosexual act. That's a huge problem bigger than drivers on drugs. Can't stop at a rest area any night anywhere without one of you Obama loving fags walking back and forth in front of trucks fondling yourself. Then go home to your wife who is clueless . Just sayin.....REAL TALK!!!!
Charles Stevenson (4 months ago)
As a flatbedder, it's easy to tell if the trailer is empty or not and it is. No way in hell would it have spun like that loaded plus with a spread the trailer likes to lean the harder you cut it. Then again it's a 48' not a 53'. Ain't nothing special to see here. Sharp truck none the less.
anthony HEMINGWAY (4 months ago)
Stevie wonder can do that
Richard Cranium @ Dicks Inn (4 months ago)
Sweet Pete, nice ride. Good job on putting in the hole. That is one difference between a Truck Driver & a guy that drives a truck.
Neil Dohi (4 months ago)
That is a nice rig. 👍
Errol Green (4 months ago)
NICE 👍
Wampas Womps (4 months ago)
Nice truck but those Pete's are just too long for me. Ill stay in my Cascadia for the extra maneuverability in tight spots. I hate doing bunch of pull ups. Makes u look like a rookie to everyone watching and I HATE the hypocritical spectators.
Marland Williams (4 months ago)
Now Blind-side it. YAAAH
Morbian13 (4 months ago)
I see stuff like this every day......
Shaun Lowekey45 (4 months ago)
Well done parking the truck
Skip Degraff (4 months ago)
That's everyday i thought he was gonna do it no pull ups or blind side or something.... ??? Nice equipment though
stingray drumming (4 months ago)
Uh, this is just parking. Happens everyday.
gumboot65 (4 months ago)
I'm a straight truck driver. I don't think I could do that with a trailer with that little fudge room. Good job !
Phil Z (4 months ago)
3 spotters....... Which one is the professional?
James Martinez (4 months ago)
Hey nice truck safe driver..don't matter if u did a pull up...we don't know how long of a day u had...good job...haters will be haters..I don't see scratches or dents on that pete
Jörgen Pinoy (4 months ago)
Daily stuff, but a nice truck like this, it's a pleasure 👍
phuck youu (4 months ago)
So professional that he needed a spotter....... Ok👌
Jubill (4 months ago)
I saw the spotter also i thought i was the only one nice job of watching
ilhan G (4 months ago)
Unnecessary ,might be a rookie. Doing that to the truck and tires is a rape, unless you have to
mark raven (4 months ago)
I do this about ten times a day. If you can't do this...learn.
david story (4 months ago)
if he was really a pro hr would have pulled forward and backed strait in...only rookies jack knife one in....JUST sayin
walt chambers (4 months ago)
Just parking...large car mobile-ing...
Diesel Doctor (4 months ago)
I do it every day a 1979 Pete 359 53 foot spread I dump my air on my front rear axle and Jack her right in there, just like backing up a single axle with your bags dumped. Beautifull Peterbilt
Co-leader So Suck It (4 months ago)
Nothing great. He had spotters and he still had to pull up. Try backing off of a one lane township road onto another one with a triple axle lowboy with a 70k track how on it
David Hollifield (4 months ago)
Never got good at backing up..spent to much time going forward..
Jeffery Schirm (4 months ago)
Yea backer in a hundred times no problem , one time have a little problem and 10 people are watching like your an escaped felon.
TE BE (4 months ago)
The point is to get it in, right? But some truckers think if you don't get it in in one shot. You don't have skills. I say, pull forward as many times as it takes. Don't mind those other super truckers. They do it too, and snake in their trailers. They just want to hate!
James Skaggs (4 months ago)
It doesn't matter how long you have driven a big truck. Long nose Pete with a spread axle trailer is a parking job I like to watch. Still a professional job. Thank you driver for posting this, I enjoyed watching.
Ben Spicer (4 months ago)
That is one ugly truck 🤢
Todd Wieland (4 months ago)
why such a long tractor? highway tractors  aren't optimum for docking--these dc's should caddy the drop/hook in and out--but he owns his tr

roger murtaugh (5 months ago)
my logistics manager would go off his nut at this, never screw a trailer!
Dave Brown (5 months ago)
Same here but he should have backed in with just one pull up
Thomas Comptois (5 months ago)
In new Mexico you have to do a 90°/ alley dock like that to get your class A. I always wondered why more people dont park like that at truck stops. It's so much easier.
Arthur Bradley (5 months ago)
YEA BUDDY! YELLOW ROSE!
Keith Lauder Jr (5 months ago)
Driver makes me feel "special" if you know what i mean. 😋
Jerry Coggin (5 months ago)
Beautiful truck!. Looks like trailer is probably a 48 wich used to be common with refers. The reason I say this is the way the axles are set up. Spread axles are usually fixed and don't slide. ( not always but most of the time). If the trailer was a 53 it would not be legal to run in Ca. Improper inner bridge. Too long. Backing into a hole like that is not a problem as long as you have enough room in front to follow the trailer into the hole. Beautiful trucks like this are cool looking and ride nice and all but can be a real bitch to get parked in a lot of the tight ass truck stop parking lots around the country.
Pc Principal (5 months ago)
Iv been driving a 53 foot trailer for 2 months and I do this everyday from day 1... awesome truck though

M D (5 months ago)
Lol...I'll bet he gets his buggy in a hole at every pickle barrel.
Craig Brinker (5 months ago)
And if he knew anything about that split axle doing what he did is it good way to pop a tire on the back without a good setup he's just putting too much pressure on those rear axles and besides that that's an ugly f****** yellow truck
Craig Brinker (5 months ago)
I went back and looked at the video again he's driving a split axle which are not easy but his Pivot Point never changes I still think if he would have done an S curve setup he wouldn't have to play with it for 5 minutes If you think that's impressive try going from the third hole to the 12th hole on a daily basis where your pivot point changes because of the weight you're carrying or lack of weight
Craig Brinker (5 months ago)
If he would have done is set up right he wouldn't had a play all that b*******
