Filming in extremely cold weather is challenging, especially when the animals being filmed are unpredictable. What are your thoughts on the filming process here?

There isn't the concept of instant gratification when it comes to wild life photography. There's wait, wait, the long wait and at one moment it gets surreal. I wish they had linked just the chase in one stretch without humans as well to feel everything coming together.

Bear has made a fortune off of capitalism, sure wish you people would lay off of the climate change rhetoric every 5 minutes of the show. Anyone know where I can get a copy without him talking?

Hate to break it to you but both bison and wolves are paid actors
S S (4 months ago)
That was risky, the Bison could have seen his foot trail and used it as a path of least resistance, running straight through him. Or the wolves could've decided for an easier meal, like him. Either event could've killed him, props to his courage.

"They came pretty close. A little too close for my liking..." Total lack of a trail anywhere withing 50 meters of him. Bison never got "close."

IT'S REALLY ODD THIS PAT YERSELF ON THE BACK TREND WHICH HAS COME INTO PLAY OVER THE PAST FEW YEARS - EVEN TO THE POINT WHERE THEY SPEND AN HOUR OR SO CONGRATULATING THEMSELVES... Y'KNOW WHEN PEOPLE WATCH THESE SHOWS THEY DO SIT AND PONDER WHAT THE PRESENTER WAS UP TO , HOW THE CAMERA PERSON DID HIS THING ETC - THEREFORE THEY ARE APPRECAITED - IN THE COMOFRT OF OUR OWN HOMES ETC ETC ETC… I THINK THIS IS GONNA HAVE SOME ADVERSE EFETC IN THE LONG RUN...

Just get a p1000 video camera....you can zoom in to the moon. So there's no distance far enough away that you can't zoom in on and get a good view of the animals

Brave and stupid, your photographers are a bit of both. Without them so much of what we learn would be lost to the secrets of the planet. Thank you for risking your life so we may learn and appreciate our planet without risking ours.

The greatest patience, the greatest determination, these photographers have in such cold, isolated, remote areas, is truly a gift to all nature lovers, who without them we would never get to see such amazing footage. 😍😘 (PS. Thanks to the helicopter pilots also)😘😘
