Jack Johnson asks an important question: "Do we want to keep making things that are meant to be used for a second and then lasts in the ocean forever?" What are your thoughts on the world's plastic problem?

What we could do is to take a stand and boycott them . People need to know that the global Economy is based on " Demand creates Supply " hypothesis . So it depends on us , if we want to save lives on this blue planet or not

Kat B, You are correct ,it should be start from very basic level, from villages and cities.
Kat B. (3 months ago)
In the US we need to ban many of our plastic products. On a national level would be better then state by state which lands up being city by city.
honey bhardwaj (3 months ago)
Why the government of each country don't bann the plastic bags?In India also, we the shopkeepers are not happy to use plastic bags, and when we discuss this problem with customers, they say that, plastic bags should be banned because we can take a handmade cloth bag with us while going to purchase something from the shop.

it was a beautiful way to look at environmentalism - to see the beauty and feel motivated to protect it rather than being discouraged by the waste

amir riddle (3 months ago)
Idk about that but most micro plastics(plastics that are so small that pass through filters) mostly come from developed countries and admittely more harmful and dangerous
Solowarrior1221 (3 months ago)
+Esther Parker. the US is one of the few countries where emissions are actually going down, now contrast that with the signatories of the paris agreement who's emissions have gone UP since they signed it.
Super Simmer (3 months ago)
It is true that China is the largest producer of plastics (by far), but the USA is not much better when it comes to polluting our planet. Read up on it.
