I work for FedEx Express. Amazing the numbers you are doing, completely inspirational! I like your positive attitude and spirit. I don't have a loader but things are different in locations and divisions of this multi-national top ten employer. I'm a floater at this point, which I take any different route in our station, I need to know about 7 different routes on different shifts. I had a laugh of what you said about the customer always asking " what is this? even tho shaped like a large rectangular box labeled "SONY 55 INCH" keep up the good work, cheers! never sweat the small stuff.

+Justin Farmer Thanks for being positive. Appreciate your kind word man

I need honest opinions.. I have an opportunity to work for a contractor for Fedex deliver. I need to know if i should do it or not?
streetracer94 (1 year ago)
hey i know this was uploaded a year ago, and idk if policies changed for Fedex, but what would cause delays for priority overnight? and do you guys deliver on weekends? lol i was just wondering and who better to ask than the actual man himself haha!
Cody Choate (11 months ago)
streetracer94 Delays can consist of a lot of things most importantly is weather delays from the airports simple as too much fog FAA will call off flights.
streetracer94 (1 year ago)
Ohh okay lol, its no problem
CThompsonTv (1 year ago)
+streetracer94 I'm not too sure about priority overnight only because I deliver ground and it's two different companies. Sorry man

you come to the hub 6am everyday or just the beginning until you know you area well and you come a bit later? and you come back to the hub around 6pm? how many hours you work average daily? 8 to 12 hrs? in the beginning when you don't know your delivery area well...what do you use to help you to make delivery easier? Road warrior app? you don't use map and mark it on the map? how long did it take you to have a good knowledge of your delivery area? 1 month? 2 weeks??? how many miles do you drive a day? how long is the commute from hub to your work area?
Hoang Tran (1 year ago)
CThompsonTv thank you
CThompsonTv (1 year ago)
+Hoang Tran I leave my house around 6:15ish. It's only because I live about 30-45 minutes away and traffic is horrible in the morning. Yes, I use the road warrior app. Eh... my area is pretty big so it took me maybe 3-4 weeks to actually know the route. I drive about 50-60 miles. I work in the same zip code
Eric Carter (1 year ago)
Do you guy paid per package or hour? (if so how much)
CThompsonTv (1 year ago)
+Eric Carter I have a separate video on my channel that talks about pay
Bao Vo (1 year ago)
I just started working FedEx HD about 6 weeks ago. Best decision ever. For me this is a fun gig, the money is great, get off 230-330. I wake up everyday not hating work because it is a hobby and a good CrossFit WOD lol. I am in learning mode, so while starting up a side business and studying for my Masters in Logistics/Supply Chain, I work for FedEx and it helps me paint a picture of my studies. I might take up a position for Assistant Engineer at the Port Railroads but I am hesitant because I am having a blast at FedEx.
CThompsonTv (1 year ago)
+Bao Vo thanks for watching man and stay safe out there
CThompsonTv (1 year ago)
+Bao Vo I think that's why most people like it because of the freedom.

77 stops and 20 pick ups? and that's heavy?  try doing 200 stops.....
jessesam (1 year ago)
JustaDrummer100 fact we scan n load our own trucks is a extra 2 hrs to the day...... the volume in hd is ridiculous in nyc. pick ups are what they are pick ups. i dont see whats so hard to understand.. .im in nyc...im speaking flr nyc ... im actually a contractor with many routes been doing this over 10 years. here in. nyc. the hd drivers work harder n are better. over all. a hd driver going to ground has a much easier time adapting to a ground driver coming to hd. this is 10 plus years of seeing this in nyc. how u can speak what goes on here in nyc since you never been here is beyond.
CThompsonTv (1 year ago)
Ha. No reason to even argue with that dude, obviously he's right about everything.
JustaDrummer100 (1 year ago)
jessesam smh you will never understand. Just keep delivering your residental stops lol. Do you even know what a pickup is? Exactly, you should get to your rest for 200 residental stops by now.
jessesam (1 year ago)
yeah 200 stops....in and out 200 times....not many ground guys can do that
JustaDrummer100 (1 year ago)
jessesam but you're home by 2 c'mon bro
Curtis Shaw (1 year ago)
Good/original vlog! I do the same thing for UPS who is way more strict than you guys. No full beards, no headphones/bluetooths, or riding with the bulkhead door open. Last vlog i noticed you driving w/o your seatbelt (UPS would have my head if i were to do that) Typical day for me begins at 8:45am and ends at 7ish. 125 stops, 250 packages, 25 pickups. Ps: no fan in my ride either.
504Productions (11 months ago)
You have a working ac in it?
CThompsonTv (1 year ago)
+Curtis Shaw Ha. Thanks for the feedback.

How much vacation you get in a year? I would be lost going to destination.
Josh C (1 year ago)
good video man, appreciate the insight. How much does home delivery pay?? Thanks
Clayton Shocklee (1 year ago)
CThompsonTv what's an average salary?
CThompsonTv (1 year ago)
+Josh C Depends. Some get paid by the stop and some get paid salary. If you're doing 200+ stops a day and you're being paid 1.10 per stop then for sure you're making money. Are you in ATX?
will ahmad (1 year ago)
much respect to you bro i was shitting myself going on the route for my first time. I have no idea where the fuck im going.. but that road warrior app made it alot easier. Thanks for the tips my dude

+will ahmad Thanks for watching man. Glad it helped you. I used to use it all the time
David (1 year ago)
Thank you for making this video. I've loathed for someone to actually vlog them driving and throughout the day. Show some video of you delivering etc and loading your truck! Get a Go Pro for like $100 on Ebay!
CThompsonTv (1 year ago)
+David Drobotov I have the two GoPros already. Need to put them into use. Thanks for watching
