Actually the box jellyfish is still the most venomous animal in the world

And that’s the prob with oz. when I was swimming in the Whitsunday’s I nearly swam into a box jelly fish, saw one of the most poisonous fish in the world, then when waking in the beach nearly stepped on a washed up box jellyfish. Not only that the spiders and massive and most of them poisonous. I’d take NZ over oz any day!

Me: I should get a life - get ripped, go to some tropical island, do backflips off of boats + cliffs and what not! After watching this: Nope.

Poor Australia gets such a bad rap I live in Sydney and only hear of sea creature attack very rarely on the news. Like I’ve seen 1-2 in the news each year.

Uhhh, no such thing as Paradise...why folks still think they're gonna find it? Frankly you're more likely to die at the hands of your own naive stupidity or that of another human being than a critter of another species....Just sayin'....

When did jellyfish develop teeth? Learn the difference between "bite" and sting, already.

I used to run with my dog on a beach (15 miles or so below San Francisco's Ocean Beach) every morning. Rarely, the sand above the surf was covered with what we called "wind sailors" A purplish-blue marine animal. They were probably different from Australia's "blue bottles" but we knew not to touch them, even if they were dead and I wouldn't let my dog smell them either. It didn't happen often, but if we had very strong winds off-shore, we'd see them every few years or so. When I visited the Great Barrier Reef in Australia, I chose NOT to dive there, there's just too many poisonous and venomous creatures south of the equator, you must be very careful! Cone snails, blue-ring octopus, kraits, funnel-web spiders, eastern brown snakes, etc., on both land and sea. I wanted to live too much to take a chance out in the wilds there! Best to just leave those creatures to the locals, who know how to act around them! It is wise to remember that often, anything brightly colored or really beautiful in nature can be dangerous! It's a way they warn their predators to leave them alone!

I also saw the blue bottles here is the Philippines. It wasa a. Not so explored beach called Harip in Surigao. I almost touched it out of curiosity but the local told me not to because its stringy nd itchy even after death.

Informative video and fairly well narrated, although the narration was kind of sexist, assuming that every animal videotaped was female. As a man, I find this insulting!

Stop stating facts about animals that live in different areas that mays be deadly on their own but not really dangerous if you don't even go in to the sea. This video is stupid!
