A large majority of these unfilled jobs are "naked options".

If a company has gold to offer as payment, and there is no intermediary Government currency that exists to facilitate the transaction, a "cyber/digital" currency will be very handy indeed.
Robby Creason (28 days ago)
Most of these proclaimed jobs are like naked short option contracts, they don't really exist.

The idiots who keep screaming this is a business interview, not politics should pick up an economics book. Politics and business go hand in hand, policy effects how business are run and businesses dictate how some policies are made. They go hand in hand, always have been, and especially having a president like Trump who was a businessman before becoming a president, these questions are much more important to ask as to figure out what exactly he plans to do with our country. Jamie Dimon is a bright man, he understands that these questions have a place in this interview.

I think the problem they are seen and coming across is that more people are re inventing them self and becoming self employed (enterprenuars). The government is not getting all the taxes from that group of people. People who get pay in cash, at the end of year report low taxes. Thats why the globe is going monetary paperless currency. This way is all track down. No more hiding cash from the government. The system is setup to keep us in slavery. Buy physical gold and silver. Get out of paper fiat.

Since 2010, during the leadership of Jamie Dimon, JP Morgan has been charged with 48 different violations of banking and securities fraud. $28,675,456,874.00 is the total paid out just in the past 7 years in fines. No prison time for a single banker. NO PRISON TIME. These people are crooks and is now paraded around as decent humans. They belong in jail. Never forget. Never forgive.
ttothet (1 month ago)
FYI: This is the bank boss behind the Libor scandal, the Bernard Madoff’s multi-billion-dollar Ponzi scheme, accused by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission for manipulated energy prices, the aluminium hording scandal, and his participation in the so-called robo-signing scandal, in which the employees of major mortgage lenders claimed to have reviewed foreclosure documents with which they were totally unfamiliar. He also participated in the subprime scandal that caused the 2008 financial crash, but he was smart enough to not ride it all the way. In other words he got out before the shit hit the fan. Jamie Dimon is a crook and it is shameful that he is now paraded around as a legit decent human being. He is trash and belongs in jail.

America needs to ditch this notion of college for all. Unless you are becoming a doctor or specialized field, kids shouldnt go to college just to pay 90k for a degree in worthlessness. We need major trade programs in plumbing, electricians, pipe fitters, pipe joiners, farming, masonry work, etc. We dont need our youth wasting their prime years sitting in a classroom taking liberal arts and learning zero skills. My brother graduated from Yale. He has zero skills and cant find a job. His degree in history is useless in the real world.

+Dividend Income It's the perfect ownership. Government and/or other bad actors can take away everything from you, but they can't confiscate Bitcoin by any means short of kidnapping and torture. And even then, with some technical knowledge, you can hide parts of your Bitcoin wealth, but you can't hide property or car. Even gold is harder to hide and easier to confiscate. If password (private key) worries you so much, just give a piece of paper to your next of kin or someone you can trust and you won't ever lose your BTC.
Dividend Income (1 month ago)
ZTech that’s completely incorrect. If someone passes away or loses their password then the money is locked into the system. It’s the perfect scam.

+Dividend Income It doest matter how or who created Bitcoin, even if it was CIA (which it most likely wasnt). Bitcoin is transparent and fair and can not be manipulated (printed or confiscated)

DaSnarky Remarky (1 month ago)
The hypocrisy of this dude is mind-blowing. He talks about income inequality and lack of opportunity for many Americans but he sits on top of the very system that made it possible in the first place. A system where corporate executives, lobbyists, billionaires like him rig the system in their own favor. Rather than announce token jobs programs (350 million dollars over 5 years is a pittance when Chase makes 10s of billions in profits each year), Dimon should work to increase the economic and political power of left-behind Americans.

Yes, the American economy aka the American whites and immigrants have been racist towards blacks. They hire family, people who look like them, and foreigners who will come here that wanna be white too that they can pay pennies on the dollar and ship back home whenever they get done with them. He's definitely not out of touch since he works at that federal reserve that put out the data showing that the black community has had a wealth drain since the 1960s. So he's a liar and he's being deceitful. Wall street was created to trade slaves and the literal wall was used to measure slaves and auction them off when the boats landed in NYC. JPM accepted slaves as collateral and took possession of them in the case of a slave owner defaulting. It's systematic racism plain and simple.

I'm giving up on Republicans because their hate is so deep they are willing to blindly with viciousness destroy this country.  *Trump attacks General McChrystal between bone-spurs memories....  .... .... ...and that''s okay with Republicans?  *Trump attacks John McCain.... ..... ...... ........ ....... ....... ...... ...... .... ....  and Republicans applaud. *Trump refused to issue a statement about McCain's death or use the word “hero," *Trump criticizes military veteran and Senator John McCain, saying, "He's not a war hero. He's a war hero because he was captured. I like people that weren't captured." *Trump’s attack on the Navy SEAL commander who oversaw the raid against Osama bin Laden *Trump dismissed the highly respected Adm. William McRaven as a "Hillary Clinton fan” *Trump has insulted war heroes, prisoners of war, Gold Star families. *Trump has publicly contradicted Mattis in tweets. *Trump claims that he's more of an expert on military issues than Pentagon staff, saying he knows more about the NATO than Mattis. *Trump told a Gold Star family widow, "He knew what he signed up for, but I guess it still hurt." *Retired Army Gen. Stanley McChrystal told CNN there's "a certain honesty to what's happening now." He noted that "The President didn't go to Arlington Cemetery for Veterans Day, and maybe that's honest, because if you really don't care, it would be dishonest to pretend that you do.” 2018 *Trump stands NOT with Otto F. Warmbier who was tortured for 17 months in North Korea BUT with Kim Jong-un!.....and you praise Kim! *Trump stands NOT with Khashoogi BUT Saudi Crown Prince.   .... ...... ...... ....Republicans have no compassion. *Trump burns $10 Billion Taxpayers dollars in an unnecessary government shutdown .......and Republicans still sit quietly.  *Trump spends more taxpayers dollars in 80 days of his presidency then Obama did in 8 years......  and that's okay with Republicans? *Trump's family (Jared) Asked Kislyak for Use of Russian Communications Facilities! ....... ... and that doesn't alarm Republicans? *Trumps kids use private servers or WhatsApp clandestinely to send America's TOP Secrets and communicate with benefactors.... and that's okay because it's not Hillary. *Trump gets Mississippi to awards $6 million in tax breaks to a new Trump-branded hotel...... Where are you Republicans! *Trump, who owns 12 golf courses in the U.S., rolls back a rule that limits water pollution by golf courses.....Republicans silently silent. *Trump's kid (Eric) spends $200,000 in taxpayer money to jet to the Dominican Republic to push for a Trump-branded project. *Trump issues the travel ban but leaves off Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Egypt — countries where he has significant business interests. *Trump's kid (Eric) jets to Uruguay to check on an unfinished Trump condo tower. The trip costs taxpayers $97,830. *Trump's kid (Eric) posts photo of the family’s ski vacation in Aspen. Taxpayers were charged $330,000 security/ $200,000 luxury lodgings. *Trump's friend Lynne Patton, an event planner with no experience in housing, is put in charge of the HUD! *Trump, who owned as much as $5 million in bank stocks in 2016, orders the Treasury secretary to consider ways to roll back regulations on banks. The value of bank stocks soars nearly 30 percent during his first year in office. Who's protecting America? NOT REPUBLICANS! "So this is how liberty dies...with thunderous applause” .... Star Wars

What kills me is being perfectly qualified, sometimes over qualified for a job and being rejected because I didn’t finish my college degree. Makes ZERO sense! How would I sound if I said hey you are everything that I’m looking for and more, but sorry you didn’t get a college degree? I would sound stupid! But it happens every day. It has nothing to do with jobs, it has everything to do with class level and the envy of other who are in tons of debt who feel you should be in debt also.
btw3006 (1 month ago)
+Mike Burton I have a college degree and while I think it's useful and all that, a lot of what I do in my current position and past positions is learned on the job, not in the classroom. Even the stuff I learned in the classroom that is relevant to my job can be learned online for free.
Mike Burton (2 months ago)
Snowblade I know people with degrees who graduated with poor grades how does that make it better for the employer? For the most part college is not hard. You just need the time, money and will to complete it.
Snowblade (2 months ago)
I think it actually all deals down to how law suits work and how this country is as a whole. A degree is nothing more then proof on what you worked hard for plus it acts like some sort of insurance for both you and the employer. That degree is going to guarantee you the correct amount of pay you should be receiving. it sucks because I believe knowledge shouldn't have a price tag but in the work field it's sadly necessary.
