When i look at this american cooking bullshit, we can realy be happy to live in europe. Do americans not know what trash they mostly eat.... this is not lasagne, this is ..... nothing...
Zack Fair (1 year ago)
I'm italian. Where fucking is besciamella!? Lasagna without besciamella is not lasagna. Ricotta, mozzarella, garlick in lasagna?...You're american are crazies.
Shiori Nakamoto (1 year ago)
It's called Olive Garden and they have grapes on their logo. -_-

Anyone kno how to boil the noodles and for how long?

What a joke

People need to chill the fuck out. This lasagna whether authentic Italian or not is delicious. Also stop pretending all your Italian mothers and grandmothers all shared the same recipe that was passed down to every Italian household throughout history. Lasagna recipes differ by region and cook, just like every other single fucking dish in the world.

I cook real Italian food as taught by my Italian mother-in-law. Her eggplant is unbeatable. But I have to say, I absolutely love Olive Gardens Lasagna. I like it because the meat sauce is refined, not overly chunky like you make at home or other restaurants, and I also prefer the thin noodles with the perfectly layered cheeses. I even prefer the sauce to some I've had in "real Italian" restaurants. But can't say I like much else there, especially the breadsticks, white hot dog bread!

Siena Bergs (2 years ago)
WTF!! if your Italian and you think that Olive garden is the best food then your messed up like seriously ricotta in lasagna, the being done after 20 minutes its meant to sit for around 5 hours like i mean your kidding me
Matteo Ricci (3 years ago)
La ricotta non centra nulla nella lasagna !!
Noah Mccurley (3 years ago)
Ricotta in lasagna!!!!!!! I'm not even Italian and I know that's not right.
Ultra Instinct Omen Goku (1 year ago)
MackyOzzy Yea but it ruins the flavor..AND THAT YOU HAVE TO ADMIT
Daphnee Oh (2 years ago)
Noah Mccurley I mix ricotta cheese directly into my meat sauce and it tastes delicious!
Simplelife (2 years ago)
gennaro contaldo made it with bechamel and bechamel isn't american twist lol
MackyOzzy (3 years ago)
well it seems like it is actually right because i've watched italians cook lasagna like Laura Vitale and Gennaro Contaldo they use a "cheese sauce" with the base of ricotta then different kinds of cheese like mozarella, romano, parmigiano instead of a more american twist which is a bechamel sauce that has a base of roux and milk
Valerio Tincani (3 years ago)
If you want to eat the real italian food you must gol in Italy. This lasagna is completley different that italian one

Ricotta in lasagna?? Are you fking real? Oh Jesus..
BigDFan61 (3 years ago)
I do like Olive Garden Lasagna but this is not it, I mean it looks like its smaller, anorexic brother. If I went to Olive Garden and got this on my plate I would send it back, did you see how THIN it is, at Olive Garden it is about 4 times thicker then this, but of course you know they are not going to tell you the REAL recipe as people would stay home and make it and not spend the $17 for it in the restaurant.

Next time I go I'm definitely getting that!!!
Stereobrainagain (4 years ago)
Honestly not a terrible recipe for generic American style Lasagne. The only thing I would do differently is I would drain the fat from my meat to prevent it from being too greasy.

Sometimes i don't realize how lucky i am for being italian: the only good thing about living in Italy is that we have the real italian food. No imitations, no hypercaloric versions of any dish. Just the real ones. nutritious, simple and delicious <3

I wanna live there
Ultra Instinct Omen Goku (1 year ago)
Tolkieniana1 The Krusty Krab Pizza XD
kommisar (1 year ago)
+Tolkieniana1 Nothing more annoying than food nationalist snobs. Italian food isn't any more "nutritious, simple and delicious" than any other country's or ethnic food. They all have the good, bad and ugly. Please stop pretending there are no complex/unhealthy dishes or bad restaurants in Italy.

I know lasagna can be cooked in many ways.. But that is not the " Italian classic " It shouldn't be advertised as that

That "thing" doesn't exist in italy....
Bradley Monroe (10 months ago)
Lasagna is Italian. The Olive Garden lasagna was inspired by the original Italian lasagna with fresh pastas sheets layered with Bolognese ragu and bechamel fillings.
Laura Fosdick (5 years ago)
Wow. A few people in the comments, who bit you in the ass? Unnecessarily rude. There are many different types of ways to prepare and cook dishes.  If the recipe is different from how you normally cook it, that does not make this particular recipe wrong.
Laura Fosdick (2 years ago)
Well, in that case, I am sure your lasagne taste infinitely better :)
A (2 years ago)
Laura Fosdick I'm sorry to say that the recepie is completely wrong. I'm Italian and we cook lasagne from generations.
Viony Tania (5 years ago)
i thought that we put bechamel sauce for making lasagna :o is this dish even classic?
Sig Shooter (4 years ago)
@Klára Mašková How much like the real thing did it come to?
Klára Mašková (4 years ago)
I use bechamel too, but it's just too bothersome to make it and it's one of the reasons I don't make lasagna too often. So I'm definitely gonna try this version and I don't really care if it's classic or not :)
bdninja (5 years ago)
bdninja likes!
Adonnaru1 (5 years ago)
Interesting how the recipe calls for no boil lasagna noodles when clearly in the video the noodles are par boiled. Also calls for 9x13 pan and again in the video they use a smaller one because the noodles are not 13 inches long. Get your shit straight.
Laura Fosdick (5 years ago)
If you look at the ingredients list at the bottom of the screen, it clearly says "12 cooked or no-boil lasagna noodles."
