Here is a list of our favorite Personal Aircrafts, Human Flying Machines, Flying Cars and Autonomous Aerial Vehicles (AAV). Some of these are already in the market but some are still prototypes. Watch some amazing short movies from shortMovieDb. Visit their website *************************************** BUY OUR FEATURED DRONES FROM AMAZON 1. Ehang GHOSTDRONE 2.0 Aerial with 4K Sports Camera : 2. Ehang GHOSTDRONE 2.0 VR, Android Compatible: 3. DJI Inspire 1 PRO Dual, 4K Camera Drone : ************************************** EHANG 184 Introducing ehang 184, a one passenger drone which can carry up to 100kg payload and cruise at a speed of 60 kilometer per hour. The Ehang is an electric AAV (Autonomous Aerial Vehicle) with 25 minutes flight time designed to fly at 3500 meters above sea level making it ideal for medium-short distance transportation. Volocopter VC200 The Velocopter VC200 is two-seater electric aircraft that can be operated with a pilot, using remote controls or completely autonomously. With 18 rotors powered by 9 independently batteries the aircraft can go up to 100 km/h. It has a flight altitude of up to 1,980 meters and a maximum take-off weight of 450 kg. Project Zero Sized to carry only a single pilot or to be used unmanned, it has around 10 minutes of flight. The company is hoping that within a decade, automakers would have advanced the development of electric batteries to the point that Project Zero will travel for around 100 minutes. Aeromobil 3.0 The Aeromobil 3.0 is two-seater flying car that transforms in seconds from an automobile to an airplane. The vehicle has maximum road speed of 160 km/h and 200 km/h of flight. PAL-V Liberty PAL-V Liberty is a three-wheeler flying car which can reach 100 mph on the ground and can be switched between driving mode and flying mode in 5 to 10 minutes. The Liberty can climb to a maximum altitude of 3500m, and its 197bhp flying engine can propel it up to a top speed of 112miles per hour. HONORABLE MENTIONS Uber Elevate (UberAir) Uber Elevate will use electric vertical takeoff and landing vehicles (evtols) to make commutes shorter, and cities cleaner. The reality of urban air transportation is closer than you think. In fact, Uber Elevate has already started exploring the barriers we’ll need to overcome to make vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) a reality and bringing uberAIR to Dallas and Los Angeles by 2020. Pop.Up (PopUp) Pop.Up or PopUp is a convertible passenger capsule that can be attached to either the ground module (electric car) or the air module (a passenger drone). The concept was debuted at 87th Geneva International Motor Show by Airbus and Italdesign Giugiaro. We will talk more about it on the next episode. For now you can read more here: Kitty Hawk The Kitty Hawk Flyer is a new, all-electric aircraft. It is safe, tested and legal to operate in the United States in uncongested areas under the Ultralight category of FAA regulations. The E-Hang is an utter joke! Just 25 minutes of flight time! The reason why IC engines exist till today is because the the batteries are a big failure for airtravel or even for road transport. It's huge, heavy, inefficient and have low energy density compared to a petrol engine. People just don't believe that these things will come to market with a huge success. A few rich people will buy it just to see how it works. No practical usage. And importantly, when you're in mid air, you must be atleast have energy to fly atleast 3-4 hrs. Trust me, I've flown almost 100hrs and I don't take off before filling the tank with correct amount of fuel. And there are also factors apart from the trip fuel like reserve fuel, emergency fuel and etc. It makes sure I'm in air for atleast 3-4 hours. 25 fucking minutes won't even be enough for a solid flight. It takes 5 minutes to takeoff and another 5 minutes to land. Now you got 15 minutes to fly, consider winds and stuff where you'll use even more energy to maneuver and fly. Practically you get a barely 10 minutes of flight. That's ridiculous. I'll rather walk to my destination.
Sarkar Kamal Sayeed (1 month ago)
Srinath Sudharsan . Hi. Your comments are interesting, however, are not applicable for the E hang. It operates like a helicopter and can takeoff and land vertically anywhere., on a sidewalk, rooftop(even the roof of a garage),garden, etc. Your reserve fuel, emergency fuel, trip fuel maybe applied for IFR, VFR flights of aeroplanes requiring prescribed destination and alternate aerodromes. 25 minutes flying time to commute avoiding vehicular traffic jams within the city limits or suburbs is quite all right. Greater ranges with more passengers and payload may be achieved later with bigger sized E hang. Kamal Sayeed.
Srinath Sudharsan (1 month ago)
+Joe Dempsey, Sr. Yea. Exactly. We can't use batteries unless their power density is atleast "near" to a same size Petrol Engine. And must be even more better and reliable to even consider to putting in a plane! These Chinese guys think human lives are a joke! Lol. Who even dared to fund this piece to trash!? I'm just laughing. Haha.
Joe Dempsey, Sr. (1 month ago)
My thoughts exactly. Battery technology is at least 20 years away for applications such as this.

the problem with vehicles that rely on autonomous controls is there are too many threats and dangers...what if the system goes down mid flight,or worse it gets hacked by an outside source? you would be several hundred feet in the air and at their mercy

I look at this and listen and when I was a kid they told us we going to have flying cars what they didn't tell us was your government don't want you to go anywhere and do anything you want to like in the Constitution they want to control where you go and if you have this technology they couldn't control it i e turn in your old vehicle for gas consumption actually turning your old vehicle to get a new vehicle with chips let us know where you're at at all times that's the problem then what the control where you go the airline industry with that like it either but you can fly to another state without using them also like people can't drive people falling out the sky and I'll be damned get in a drone when I have enough money to learn how to fly why would I want a drone that's what it's all about freedom of where you want to go technology is already here they already have flying cars in the 50s they didn't crash or anything they just don't what you to get up and go when you want without controlling you or tax you in some way

With flight times/ranges rated from 25 to 100 minutes, those are hardly worth the cost for all the down time they'll need to recharge/refuel. The Aeromobil has quite a bit more range, and utility. The Pal-V Liberty is way too pricey, but then so too is the Aeromobil.

Technology is our greatest contribution and humans are gifted until it is turned against us in the hands of slave mongers. We could become freedomless herds or flocks prevented from expressing ourselves creatively, independently and boldly. Herds that are watched, followed and chased down if do anything different that is noticed. Superior Macro Super-imposed Peer Pressure defining the "raised in captivity" generations that fearfully and robotically carry out social slave missions programmed in by mass hypnosis. The only humans left with any freedom will be those in charge of obsessively taking freedom from others into captivity. How many people already feel compelled to stay indoor for majority of day? More freedom in home than outside? Smart connected home and cameras can see and listen. Too much power, too much control, no freedom. Must begin to ask hard questions. Fix before everywhere is prison. Peace
