3 lane tunnel = big thumbs up China 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Of course this bridge is a triumphant example of Chinese engineering. Social Engineering that is. Don't forget the real reasons why this bridge was built in the first place. By the way: Other nations have biult huge bridges years and decades earlier. Here are some examples of gigantic bridges from other countries all built between 25 and 88 years ago (!!): George Washington Bridge (1931, USA), Golden Gate Bridge (1937, USA), 25 de Abril Bridge (1966, Portugal), the Kocher Viaduct (1979, Germany) of the Minami Bisan-Seto Bridge (1988, Japan). But when China does it it's somehow the 8th wonder of the world. PATHETIC!!

China has built more roads. Rail. Airports bridges tunnels factories bridges dams and skyscrapers in past 30 years than the rest of the world combined. It also proves that communism is a thing of the past.

only one thing is missing; don't see any cars on the road?

I still don't understand why going to/from Hong Kong to Mainland China requires passing through customs. I thought the two were part of the same country since 1999.

Now this bridge serve it purpose to send army from china to hong kong...lol support china to shoot all protesters
Aaron Peavler/Geomodelrailroader Railroad Photography (30 days ago)
that was inappropriate you are calling for mass genocide where people are shot and CS and Sarin Gas are dropped on a city killing everyone. I don't agree with the Chinese dealing with this and I condemn genocide. If the military uses gas Xi will be removed from power for war crimes and we can not let that happen.

China is "Connecting" with Capitalistic countries without agreeing with the FACT that Capitalism is the ONLY system required by HUMANITY. China itself turned to Capitalism without SAYING anything at all ABOUT the "Capitalism". See the tremendous growth of China. Remember the saying "More loyal than the King"?

So... the officials who conducted the test were arrested because of falsifying data, but then they did their own test and proven the strength of the concrete was meeting the standard... so the officials are not falsifying the data afterall? What shit is this?

If this was being built by US you can bet the cost would be many billions more just for the planning stages and after the green's sue and tie it up in court the project would come to a standstill.

The real reason for this bridge is one of politics and influence. China wants to bind Hong Kong closer to China and undermine its own identity. Since the effective British handover of HK to China this has always been their intension.

$15BN and 8 years and they complained about delays and cost over runs! If the West built it, it would have taken 20 years and $80BN! And I liked how stylish the skyscrapers are compared to the West. I live in Australia, and in my city, one bridge over a freeway took 5 years and $800 Million and it only covered 800 mts. This is why China is moving forward fast.

What is so stupid about this Bridge is why they drive on the right side of road. Macau & Hong Kong are on the left still & they should switch over to the right like the rest of China. Why are they still using the British license plate system still also? Beautiful bridge though,

Even China need 8 years to build this, could you imagine what a mega bridge is this? In Italy, they need 100 years to discuss, 100 years to take a coffee, 50 to strike, 200 to build

The Invasion is near, already buying Houses forcing out Locals plus Local Kids being priced out of best Schools. Chinese seem to print money. Gov't pay huge money to Party faithful.  needs to be USA Dollars not printed paper which is being used to build huge projects like 8 lane highways to Russia , maybe make it easier to invade.
