Has anyone ever heard of a Lakewood p 222 ?  it was a plastic bladed  2 speed from the mid 80s , the Low speed was the super low speed like the one used on the 3 speed models, it's as if they left out the medium speed , I had one,,, I have never seen another one.

Great find, Classic fan. I'm always willing to drive a few hours to get a decent fan like this, But I enjoy driving quite a bit.

I have an avocado green Country Air 3 speed. Got it years ago when I saw your video about it. This past summer our basement was damp from the humidity and my niece had it running for 2 weeks straight! Still in great shape, tho. The fan is a beast.

Hey Spats! Great vid, I've been a subscriber of yours for awhile, but there is no darn way to tag users or send a private message on here! Not sure if you've ever owned any Edison/Toastmaster branded box fans, but is there any chance you'd mind taking a quick look at this vid I posted a little while back, and see if you have any advice for me? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KG47vz3qRCs&frags=pl%2Cwn Thanks in advance!

I love the smell of Vintage in the morning - it smells like ... victory.

That ones a year older than mine. Mines a 1974 model. I love my S-23. The guy sounds like my grandma lol. I find that when inquiring about old box fans like this (like the Avocado and Terracotta and the blue Kmart ones) I just say "i want that orange box fan" or whatever. Anyways..Great find! and interesting story as well. Cool startup sound too. Mine has the typical "whoo whoos" like most Lakewood -23 series box fans. If i find another P-21 ill let you know.

I have a fan just like that, but with the plastic blade. It was a trash find, and is missing the front grille. Nice to see how it would look when restored :-)
