The food is best in subs to compensate for it being the most dangerous job. In WWII, the USN only assigned sailors who volunteered, since chance of death is very high. I dont know if that still applies today.

I don't know why the communication buoy idea isn't used in all subs. And he mentioned it was for receiving signals. This seems like a good way that the sub could communicate with the outside world without really giving up its position. I suppose that the signals it broadcasts could be detected and give away it's position?

Two kinds of people in the world. People who can survive submarine life, and those who can't. Only way to find out, is to be on a submarine. At some point you realize, nearly anything, and everything can kill you. And, you're either fine with that, or your brain comes unglued. Really though, everyone that is on a sub has their brain get strained. The difference is: bending vs breaking. Puts everything nicely in perspective though. Ride this roller coaster with me. Everything below, happened in seconds: *noise* what is that sound? that sound. is water rushing down a pipe, it's loud and getting closer what could make that sound here? nothing good oh look water, that isn't so bad. it will break something, maybe that's a lot of water, someone might get hurt I need to stop the water, which way do I go? toward the water, shit that is A LOT of water, this is really, REALLY bad. get to a switch! so. much. water. we might all die... *water slows as someone else got to a switch first.* maybe only a little death and damage, must help secure power to equipment. I was at tube 17 when the sound started. I was at tube 21 when the flood control was activated. Look at 1:12 It took me 3 of those orange cylinders to get up to full speed. And in that time about 700 gallons of water had come spilling in to the boat. So much water, that as I ran toward it. I watched as it grew in width and force until I couldn't see the wall anymore, just water. Everything else I've run into since then just, hasn't seemed all that bad.

It is annoying to keep hearing sum marines, not sub marines. Your pronunciation sure does not sound BRILLIANT. Take a breath and slow your speaking speed. You talk TOO fast.  Your 80 words per minutes should be slowed to 60 words per minute. 60 WPM is considered comfortable listening. You want your viewers to be comfortable and listen for the whole video.
