Dear NG, Here in India especially in south of Tamilnadu an ancient civilization has been discovered at place Kezhadi (near Madurai). This Kezhadi might be ancient Madurai (Pre historic Madurai) where sangam (Court of Tamil) has been conducted. I would request you people to bring to the world. Hopefully, Sriram.M

Grave robbers are a double-edged sword. Without them, early medical practitioners would've trouble finding progress. But with them well, you know it already.

It's difficult to believe that in this day and age, there are ancient sites that hadn't been documented and mapped until very recently.

How wonderful!!! I find archeology one of the most interesting jobs. It must be exciting to be the first to see these things, after being dozens of years buried.

The advantages of having an ancient civilization living in a desert is that the desert is always changing. Sand moves around covering up and perserving things for centuries.

This is just one of the findings, I’m sure there would be more tombs yet to be uncovered since Egypt is one of the world’s oldest countries!!!

Gotta love grave robbers, some of the most weak minded people, cant just leave them in peace.

Great! Now all they have to do is not riot like a bunch of sand monkeys and destroy their countries history. Egypt once used to be great. But dear god how the mighty have fallen.

+Thinking Emoji Egypt owed Europe loans at the start and the British went to collect. They then had occupation of the suez canal which was a great asset. Everything happens for a reason, the British had international surrport untill the suez war. Egypt self destructed.

You do realize that they are rioting because people like you decided to dig their noses where they don’t belong , don’t you ?
Thinking Emoji (2 months ago)
This was because of British colonisation. They wrecked the entire continent.

Great findings! Too bad looters took most of the artifacts before they discovered it. Still, hope we can learn more about the Middle Kingdom from these findings. Thanks for sharing National Geographic.
