Congratulations to UPS for winning the 2018 Red Hat Innovator of the Year Award. When I was CTO of Red Hat back in 2000, the average time to get new functionality into production was 18-36 months, and people were asking how to get it down to 6 months. In this video, UPS talks about shrinking that time down from 6 months to 2 weeks. There's a lot that goes into making this work, but chief above all is the willingness to commit to an ambitious goal and then finding the right partners to help achieve that goal.
